All-Academy Theme Sessions

Theme: 20/20: Broadening Our Sight

All-Academy Theme Chair: Herman Aguinis

The All-Academy Theme (AAT) program is developed by AOM’s Vice President and Program Chair, with the aid of a theme committee. The AAT program contains a mix of accepted symposia and professional development workshops (PDWs) that were submitted directly to the AAT program for review by the committee. AAT sessions address issues of broad interest, and are directly related to the conference theme, “20/20: Broadening Our Sight”. AAT sessions are held on the Sunday at the Annual Meeting from 12:30-15:15 EST (UTC-5).

The 2020 theme, 20/20: Broadening our Sight, is an invitation to overcome dichotomies that prevent the production of actionable knowledge to address the pressing challenges for individuals, organizations, society, and our own profession. Using the 20/20 vision analogy, the theme invites members to break down dichotomies and broaden how we "see" management and organizations and our own profession. To learn more, please review the full summary of the 2020 theme, 20/20: Broadening our Sight.
