AOM events promote the exchange of ideas and support both scholarly activity and professional development. They also provide opportunities to network and meet fellow management scholars and practitioners from around the world. AOM members have the exclusive benefit of being able to access the AOM member directory and attend the Annual Meeting, the world’s largest gathering of management professionals, held every August.

Academic Members: Our journal research is a vital tool for both your personal research as well as an effective teaching tool through AOM Insights' summaries, infographics and videos.

Student Members: Exploration of our journals and libraries will assist you in writing your academic papers through learning about the latest theories, practices, and research in management.

Executive Members: Our journal research and AOM Insights will assist you in understanding the latest management research as well as guiding your team's professional development through the latest management research and trends.

AOM members are granted membership to two of AOM’s Division and Interest Groups (DIGs). Membership in additional  DIGs is available for a nominal fee. DIGs foster a sense of place for members seeking an intellectual home and a means of establishing ties with others who hold similar interests in a specific management discipline.

Academic Members: DIG membership facilitates interaction with scholars at our doctoral and junior faculty consortia; learning about current research tools, and participating in Professional Development Workshops (PDWs) and the Teaching and Learning Conference (TLC@AOM) at our Annual Meeting.

Student Members: Allows you to explore fields of interest in a particular discipline to gain insight into future career paths. Membership also provides you with the opportunity to join educational sessions, mentoring programs, and paper development workshops.

Emeritus Members: Network in a community with those who have similar intellectual disciplines, and participate in our discipline-specific recognition programs.

AOM’s Career Services helps members at all stages of their career search for and find new opportunities--from both the recruiter and job seeker perspective. Career Services at AOM's Annual Meeting provides on-the-spot recruiting and interviewing with prospective employers and employees.
