The 2020 physical meeting of the Academy of Management scheduled for 7-11 August 2020 in Vancouver has been cancelled due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. A 2020 virtual Annual Meeting is in development. Please click here for an update from AOM President Jacqueline Coyle-Shapiro.
This event gives members the opportunity to network, share their research, learn about the latest trends in management, and improve their papers. As a member, you can become involved in our Annual Meeting through attending, submitting papers, symposia, professional development workshops and caucus proposals, and by volunteering as a reviewer. If you are interested in submitting to the Annual Meeting, please click here for more information.
Each Annual Meeting revolves around an All-Academy Theme. The 2020 theme is: “20/20: Broadening Our Sight” which focuses on the dichotomies that prohibit the production of actionable knowledge to address pressing challenges for individuals, organizations, society, and the management profession.

The 2020 theme, 20/20: Broadening our Sight, is an invitation to overcome the dichotomies that prevent the production of actionable knowledge to address the pressing challenges for individuals, organizations, society, and our own profession. Using the 20/20 vision analogy, the theme invites members to break down dichotomies and broaden how we "see" management and organizations and our own profession. To learn more, please review the full summary of the 2020 theme, 20/20: Broadening our Sight.
